Awwww Di  :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug:

I know how upset you are but I think what you have done today is beautiful.   :luv:  You have a lovely garden and now your two gorgeous girls are together and can "play" in the sunshine.

I still have the ashes of Charlie and Jarvis at home, in the lounge where they loved to be.  Andy and me still haven't come to a decision as to what we will eventually do with them.  I'd love to put them in a pot full of roses, then we can take them with us if we move.  Andy wants the ashes scattered with our own when we eventually go.

I have a picture of my Dad with Charlie and I have a lock of Charlie's fur in the picture.  I also cut a little bit of Jarvis's fur off minutes before he was PTS and have kept it with his ashes.

At the end of the day though, our babies are in our hearts forever.  :luv:

That's where mine are.....and will be forever.  There is a little part of both of my girls etched in my heart and memory forever.  Wherever I go, wherever I live... they will go too.

Glad you were able to do what you did today Dianne.  Your babes are together now, like they always were.

 :luv: :luv:

I wish they could live forever......... :luv:

No longer in my arms, but forever in my heart, my girls at the Bridge, Lily and Freya. Xx

My two darling girls (Sophie & Molly) are buried in our field next to our house, with a 'blue' fir tree over them.  I take Bo for walks up to say 'hello' to them...and to let Bo know that two very special girls are watching him!  I chose Bo as he is related to Sophie and Molly,so I don't feel as though I have totally lost them.

Thinking of you Dianne.

You were a great comfort to me when I lost Jezzie, I will never forget your kind words.  Your special girls are together again now.

I still have Jezzie's ashes in the box, we had her put in with her Mum, Misty, so my girls are together too.  I didn't necessarily want them leaving in a box but I want them with me & I would be heart broken if I moved on and had to leave their ashes behind somewhere.  I still talk to them both regularly.

Stay strong

Xx
RIP Misty 09.04.90 - 26.03.05 & her daughter Jezzie 15.07.94 - 08.07.11 x

My last two dogs, Meg the bull terrier/ Jack Russell and Deli my old sheepdog, are buried on land nearby, that used to belong to my daughter in law's mum.  Though dear Meriel has now died and her house sold, there is a footpath through the land and we can still walk there.  However, I feel closest to them when we are out walking where I used to take them ~ Deli in particular always feels very close, she was with me 11 years and I think she is still about, keeping an eye on her friend Will who is nearly 13 himself now  :luv:  When he goes (not for a long time, of course) we will scatter his ashes by Deli's grave.
We miss them forever, but they are still in our hearts  :luv:

We are very, very lucky aren't we Dianne?  You have to have KNOWN the love of these beautiful dogs in order to feel their loss so much.

I hate losing them......and will never come to terms with it.  BUT I loved having their love for all the years they were with me.

We wouldn't change that, would we?

Big hugs.  :luv: :luv:

When we lost our GR Cassie last July, a horrendous accident after which we had to make the awful decision to put an end to her suffering.  We were in shock, and at an unfamiliar vets (who were very kind, and did their best for her).  When we telephoned them the next day to pay the bill, cremation was mentioned as included in the cost, but we were never asked whether we wanted her ashes.  We didn't know you could have them to bury or scatter where you wish.  I'm so sad now as we would have liked to have them to scatter in one of her favourite places.

I have kept the ashes of my two dogs and I have never been able to bring myself to scatter or bury them. I've had Cindy's ashes 22yrs and Bonnie's ashes 11 yrs now. What I really want to do is have their ashes scattered with me when I go that way we will always be together.
