Well you know we had a bit of a torrid time with converting Miya to raw, seemed like all the best brands she just walked away from an wouldn't entertain it at all >:( The only raw she loves is PAH beef but this is not a complete food  >:(
So at present she has about 120g of JWB Junior in the morning and 200g PAH beef around 5pm :shades:

Don't wish to direct you one way or the other but when we had our little scarey moments a few weeks back, the end result was that we felt we were a little quick off the mark, namely panicing with worry  :dunno:

Totally understand Mel.
I hope it works out for Miya.
Averted sickness last night as as soon as he started the licking his lips, swallowing  (4am), adrian gave him a bonio, he went straight to sleep,
Started again at 6am, gave a half bonio then he went back to sleep.
Im staying off the JWB today and probably tomorrow to see how he goes.
Thanks.

Have you been giving him supper?

If his belly isn't right, you could always try him with some pro kolin, I got mine online, not sure if the shops sell it.
My beautiful little boy Charlie :)

Yes Emma, he had a bit supper at 9pm
I thought prokolin was for diawosits, so its for upset tummy too?

I've given it when  Charlie's  belly  wasn't  great,  he couldn't  settle, gave him that and voila (I  think he just had trapped wind,  but it fixed him up)

I wonder if his natural gut bacteria have been upset by his previous illness. In humans live yoghurt is good for this but don't know if it helps dogs?

Yes Ive heard that, tried to get goats milk yoghurt today but no where had any.
Might try tiny bit of ordinary natural stuff.
Trouble is im trying so many different things Im not sure if one works I will know what one lol.

He is on 3 small meals today too.

For the 6th night in a row I was up at 3am with Riley,
He was fed all day 3 times on chicken and rice. Fine in himself.
Last little meal was 9pm, he was in bed 9.45pm.

Fast forward to 3am, he was lying quietly beside me, swallowing, lip licking and wet mouth again.
Got him to the bathroom and he brought up usual bile.....this time something in it.  A piece of bark, I would say about size of a 50p but not that shape if you know what I mean. Hubby took it away. I told him to keep it,,,, he flushed it down the loo! grrr

He went back to sleep, (I didnt ) >:(
Nothing else and he got up at 7.30am and ate scrambled egg fine.

Hubby isnt convinced it could have been lying in his tummy for 6 days.. I am hopeful ,maybe me being over optomistic that this is the cause.
Is it possible that was lying in there and each time he had an empty stomach that it irritated to bring up bile? but was fine when he had food in it.
It doesnt sound right as I type it. Im ever hopeful though.

If it continues over the weekend , will be back at vet monday :'(

It could be the cause- i know oak bark is acidic i think oak used to be used in the tanning process for cleaning the skin of fat etc so would be irritating. Fingers crossed x

Oh Jane, let's hope that this was the cause and that this is what's been irritating him all these days. Fingers crossed over the weekend.
