Jamie's Puppy Class
« on: January 22, 2014, 04:30:49 PM »
Jamie went to his puppy class for the first time last night.  He was nowhere near as confident as Henry was when he attended.  Indeed, I think he was a little overwhelmed.  It's the same group that Henry went to, and he really enjoyed his classes and wanted to play with the rest of the puppies.  Jamie eventually came out of his shell a little and made friends with an older Golden Cocker puppy.  He managed the sit, down, and recall.

Jamie is only eleven weeks old and Henry was fourteen weeks when he first attended, so hopefully he will settle down and enjoy his experience.  After his first week Henry couldn't get into the hall quickly enough.

:clapping: Well done Jamie, he'll get more confident each time he goes, he's still only young and any training will help him be a happy  well socialised boy  :D

Ah well done Jamie, don't worry they all take to these things differently as you probably know. Give him a couple of weeks and hopefully he will be as confident as all the others.

Remembering Smudge 23/11/2006 - 3/8/2013, Branston 30/8/14 - 28/10/22, and Minstrel 24/6/13 - 13/8/24 all now at the Bridge.

sounds like he missing his big brother! still it is good for him to develop this confidence so well done for taking him. i found pepper ,an 'only' dog, almost too confident and to be honest a nightmare for most of the classes!
