the magic TV remote
« on: April 12, 2018, 09:00:20 PM »
Have you a TV which changes channels or goes loud or silent on it's own.
Could be, it goes on or off on it's own, sometimes when you are not even in the same room.

Could it be a strange phenomon or is it likley to be a four legged cocker who thinks that hiding the remote from his humans will get him the attention he feels is lacking.  It can usually be found lying in the undergrowth under a cockers tum :005:

Any  other strange cocker phenomon going on out there I wonder!!
Cocker kisses and cuddles just make my day!

Archie often switches the TV on and then brings the remote into my harp room when I’m giving a lesson. Usually when the lesson is close to his suppertime.... :shades: He also frequently records programmes he doesn’t want me to miss.  ph34r

:005: Oh yes,  TV is rival  number one, Humphrey parks himself infront of it and stares me out and when that doesn‘t work we get the dramatic „oh woe is me“ performance! If there were oscars for dogs, the cockers would win hands paws down

I have just been verbally attacked by OH as his footie team just scored and Ollie managed to press the pause button.....pity he hadn't done his usually trick and switched it off :shades:

I really need to get Ollie better schooled in using the remote :lol2:

LOL I get that - leave the room or house and find the channels have changed

Auntie Beeb is good at this too, sit there watching say a tennis match or snooker frame - go outside to get cuppa, a wee or whatever - come back in room and find you are watching a completely different one....and another trick is when you just get to the interesting bit and heyho 'we are leaving this, you can now catch it online or red button', infuriating  >:D
Remembering Smudge 23/11/2006 - 3/8/2013, Branston 30/8/14 - 28/10/22, and Minstrel 24/6/13 - 13/8/24 all now at the Bridge.

I have a theory that Ollie is really just after me routing it out from under his tummy..........cockers are the biggest attention seekers I know.
