Thank you for all your kind thoughts and best wishes. And lovely that mother in law of Jaysmumagain has had a similar happy ending. Dogs really do make such a difference to our lives. xx

That's really lovely news, on both counts.  Funny how these wee souls can find their way to us.  Delighted for you. xx

Wishing everyone a lovely Christmas and a happy, peaceful 2026 and I include all your cockers in the sentiment, too! 2025 has not been the best of years for me; during it I was touched by your concern following my loss of Matte (this time last year I was completely unaware of what was to come at the end of December), later health problems with Kellie, and my quest for a 2nd cocker at the grand age of 84. My efforts, aided by you good people, was rewarded when I got Bodie in September. He is a total gem. I feel Kellie is not as well in herself, nothing myself or the vet can pinpoint but I am worried about her and sadly the young vet I tend to see is leaving to take up a vet internship at the end of the year. Whilst not knowing what's round the corner, let's hope we will continue to enjoy our pets for the future; I wish their lives were longer. Enjoy the festive season. xx
