Rear leg limp

Millie, my 11 year old working cocker, is favouring her rear left paw. There was a noticeable limp 3 weeks ago and the vet did the usual physical tests and couldn't find anything wrong.
Millie was prescribed anti inflammatory medicine and short lead walks.
3 weeks later, the limp has almost gone but she is still shifting weight when stood still to avoid too much weight on the leg.
I have started joint supplements and turmeric tablets about 2 weeks ago.
I'm still concerned that things are not progressing as quickly as I would like, and Millie is desperate for a proper walk which I can't give her.
Anyone had a similar issue with their dogs?

I would suggest going back to the vet, or seek a second opinion if you‘re still not happy.
My dog‘s back problem was incorrectly diagnosed because the stand in vet decided at the outcome that it was just a strained muscle, it turned out to be more serious than that, we lost valuable time and consequently he suffered nerve damage.
I‘m not trying to alarm you, Millie‘s symptoms sound far less dramatic (Humphrey was completely lame initially) and it could just be age related arthritis   but if there is some sort of back problem, it could be that she does need a prolonged rest period to prevent further damage.
Fingers crossed its nothing serious but you‘ll feel better if you know nothing‘s been missed.

I will definitely go back to see the vet. Unfortunately,  I had a similar episode with my older cocker Murphy, who is still going strong.
Lots of x-rays and money spent to find nothing untoward and his rear leg cleared up on its own.
Strangely, Millies limp is far less severe but taking a lot longer to get better.

Dylan has favoured one back leg for a long time, but recently he was getting quite needy in being lifted up onto his chair (standing with his chin on the seat and then looking hopefully at us til one of us lifted him up. He has got 'twitchy'as well, like when someone winces in pain, so he had an X-ray last month of his back, and there is narrowing of one disc. Nothing showed re the leg.
He's been on Arthrocam for a month now, and Inhave to say he seems rejuvenated, much more lively and mobile, and being able to jump on his chair and even the bed. (I wouldn't mind some of that myself!!). Still 'twitchy', but this could be related to the epilepsy.
