Hi I a have just been looking at Kellys Family tree and it says her grandmother was a show champion I know its prob a daft question but what does it exactly mean, can anyone say this on their family tree and is there a way I could search the net for (if it is true) what show she was champion of and perhaps a photo etc.. I do find this interesting and would like to investigate further. Thanks Julia
Mark I dont understand your reply sorry. Ive tried a google search with Kellys grandmothers name but not getting anything. Thanks Julia
if she is a champion the cocker club will have a photo of her and her show history
Quoteif she is a champion the cocker club will have a photo of her and her show historyNo they won't necessarily Mark. The Cocker Club has an archive of show photos but doesn't keep individual photos of individual Sh Champions or their history, unless you mean adverts in the annual Year Books? Julia, if you let us know Kelly's Grandmother's name, I'm sure someone will be able to help you with further info Jane
im sorry jane but they do i saw them at their champ show this year and infact made a point of looking at them all while i was showing
Quoteim sorry jane but they do i saw them at their champ show this year and infact made a point of looking at them all while i was showingI'm sorry Mark but those photos you saw do not belong to The Cocker Club - they belong to the photographer Ian Scott who kindly brings along his collection every year for display purposes & then takes them home again. I have had to ask Ian specifically to borrow some of his photos for use on the Club website as the Club does not keep photos of individual dogs.Jane
i stand corrected however kellys mum could still use the club to obtain a copy photo which was all i was trying to say
Quotei stand corrected however kellys mum could still use the club to obtain a copy photo which was all i was trying to sayWell actually she couldn't - she'd need to contact the photographer direct but she may not need to as often other members of COL have pics in their own private collections or in their Year Books.Jane
