Thanks for all your good wishes everyone.  She is more awake this morning, but very quiet.  We have got painkillers for her in a liquid form which we have to mix in with her food, so as a special treat she had mashed up weetabix and milk for breakfast and I put it in that.  I wanted to make sure she took it as she sometimes takes ages to get going with her hard food and I didn't want her to be in pain.

Poor little thing, she looks worried as if she has got a constant frown on her face and you can tell she is not herself as she is completely ignoring the cats.  They have been walking past her and she hasn't batted an eyelid.  Don't think they can quite believe it and I hope they don't get lulled into a false sense of security as I am sure she will soon be back to normal and following them everywhere.

The good thing is she is not bothering with her scar too much.  She occasionally licks it and I managed to get a quick peek this morning.  It looks nice and clean which I am pleased about.  She is back to the vets on Saturday morning for her post op check up and then hopefully that will be it.  She has been stitched from inside and they will dissolve so she hasn't got to have any stitches out.

Cocker kisses from Pringle to Honey.  She has to go back on Saturday morning for her check up.  Is much more like her old self this morning.  Still a bit quieter than usual but the cats have become the most interesting creatures in the universe again and she has resorted to her old ways of following them everywhere with her nose up their bums  :005: so guess she is feeling better.  And as I have been typing have had to investigate the noise coming from the utility room which turned out to be her trying to rip a hole in the doormat ::) so the signs are that cocker mischief is well and truly back !

Yes, the recover incredibly fast.  I had to keep Coco on the lead in the garden for the first week as she kept trying to do the wall of death after a couple of days and I was worried she would burst her stitches!  ::)

We had Gizmo speyed on Thursday,
she stayed in overnight :-( (I missed her lots)
I went to pick her up Friday and she come running out like a mad pup  :005: :005:
she has had a very good weekend and is back to normal now......

but our vets didn't give her any pain killers ......is this correct?
she does seem to be fine without them tho........
she just can't stand the massive cone on her head (she thinks she looks silly)  :005:

Coco didn't have any painkillers either - just the lampshade for her head  :005:  Didn't seem to bother her though: she did not seem in any discomfort and she is a real wuss!  ;)
