Problems with photos

Hi everyone I am completely new to this, but have a general query with regard to photo attachments, which everyone seems to add to their topics.  I don't seem to be able to see any of them!!  I just a get blank white box with a red cross in it ... it's so frustrating.     Do you have any ideas what I can do?

What browser are you using Susie and is it just this site where you can't see any photos/images?

I think we use Internet Explorer - does that make sense?  You can tell I'm not very technically minded!  It happens on other sites too.

Ok, well it may be that your internet cache is full (the folder where all the pages you've looked at on the internet are temporarily stored on your computer) as this can slow down sites and stop photos being displayed. Not sure which version of IE you are using but if it's IE6, click on Tools (at the top of the page), then click Internet Options, then in the Temporary Internet Files section on the General tab, click Delete files. This should clear out your cache and hopefully allow you to see photos etc. If this doesn't work, there are a few other things you could try, as listed HERE

I've tried deleting Temporary Internet Files but that didn't work.  Having looked in Internet Options I see I don't have an Advanced tab to check Show Pictures!  Looks like I won't be able to see anything or all the lovely doggies!

That's odd What version of IE do you have? It will tell you if you click on Help then About Internet Explorer.
