Joules - it was actually Charlotte's but I think the answer would have to be no!

Of course when told this, OH asked if I couldn't just wash it ::)

It was all covered in slime :shades: :o

Well, I am sure it would have been worse if you had waited for it to come out the other way!  :005:

Do you think all those single socks that go missing all over the world are inside Cocker spaniels?

So glad sock came out with no ill effects but i am a little surprised the vet suggested making her sick. When George swallowed a duster i phoned our vet in an absolute blind panic he was only 10 months old and it was one of those big yellow dusters they told me not to make him sick it could get stuck on the was back up and choke him. Fortunately he passed it eau naturel 10 days later.

Glad it was a happy ending :005: When Shiloh was a puppy he swallowed a pound coin to follow its progress, we would lay him on his back and wave the metal detector over him, after a week as soon as u got the md out he would lay on his back with his legs in the air waiting for you to do it :005: It took 2 weeks to come out. We called him the pound puppy bless

Poppy is a sock eater!  >:(
The first one took 5 days before she threw it up, the next two lasted 2 days before they came up.
I tried salt water with the last one but nothing happened (can't have used enough salt).
I got a top tip from a COL'er which was to wash socks in a net bag, now socks don't get dropped on the floor and Poppy can't eat them! Brilliant! ;)

One of our labs ate a thick hairnet - it came out the other end about 3-4 days later completely unchanged!! ;)

 :rofl1:

YES - well at least in our house.

Millie's gobbled two down whole, the 1st came up after 2 days, the 2nd came up after being given an injection by the vet to make her sick. (she'd eaten it 2 days earlier and started being sick, and as it was the Friday before xmas the vet didn't want to leave it and have a possible emergency over the xmas break)

I think she may have eaten another one yesterday - Didn't see her eat it but  think there was one more sock in the washing pile than was there >:(

We're keeping a close watch on her.  How long after the event would salt water possibly do the trick?
