Resizing photos using Photobucket
« on: May 03, 2007, 09:06:50 PM »
There seems to be a problem with Photobucket as it isn't resizing photos down to the allowed size of 640x480 pixels - when the photos get copied to COL they are showing as much larger, hence us having to change them to links.

To resize your photos before uploading them to Photobucket, this programme is useful - it's free and easy to use...

It's also handy for cropping and making colour adjustments, if need be.

Colin - I've been meaning to ask for a while, is it OK to specify the size of the picture in the "code" of the post, iyswim?

I have been using this code:

{img width=450]http://xff.xanga.com/ce1d03f45913288643506/m61334792.jpg[/img}

Which results in a picture this size:

To be honest Rachel I didn't even know that was possible.  :lol: What a simple and effective way of re-sizing.  :shades:
