I think she is a sweetheart.  Just look at that wonderful waggy stub of a tail and a Cocker cuddle to die for at the end of the video clip.  I would love to give her a home.  Her blindness is no problem to me as Sammy was blind for his last few years so I know what to expect.
Does anyone know if Many Tears can be contacted by e-mail to ask a few questions about her, as they seem quite adamant on their website that they don't want lots of phone calls as it wastes their time that could be spent with the dogs.

Add me to the list of people that can't persuade OH to consider rehoming Kenzie.
She would probably struggle with a boisterous Border Collie anyway!
I get so angry when dogs are used for breeding then cast aside as if they are worthless.
Hope she finds her forever home soon

What a cracking little video and what a super dog - the little bottom never stopped waggling! :luv:

I showed it to the OH who stated quite categorically that a fourth dog would see him out of the door for good.... hmm......... :005:

It might be a good thing Jools. They may have stopped breeding from her because of her eyes.  At least if it is heredity there will be no more puppies born with the chance of having her eye problems

Yes, but how many litters did they take off her before they stopped?  And are they still breeding using her offspring?   >:D  >:D There are no words foul enough to describe these puppy farmers - and I speak as one with an MT p-f rescue.  Are you thinking about taking Kenzie on?  She looks lovely.  :luv: :luv:

As Kenzie found a home yet. If not, will she be up for re-homing once she has had her treatment for her eyes?  Can anyone tell me if she gets on with other dogs?

Oh Kenzie! She is adorable! I'm sat here crying after watching her video!  :'( I might try and show OH tonight but I don't think I'll be able to win him over, I think if we get an ex breeding bitch it will be from a proper breeder rather than a puppy farm though, sad as I'd love to take one of them on but you just don't know what they are going to be like!  :'(

Hi Adele.  just felt I had to reply and tell you this ...My OH at first was not happy about having a Puppy Farm bitch :-\  as we had always had our dogs from a cocker breeder...but he finely agreed on having one and we got Holly on Dec 10 th last year...and what a wonderful present she was....he has falling completely in love with her  and please believe me, that giving her a home has been the most rewarding thing we have ever done ...to see her learning how to enjoy life ..to hear her  bark and roll with sheer joy  :luv: cry with joy when we get the leads out to go for our walks WELL .........there are no words to express it. we see daily little wonderful changes in her....Please tell your OH...they are worth the effort, the love they give you is priceless and I'm sure he would never regret giving one a home I know my OH hasn't.

Thanks for that honeysmum and I'm sure it is very rewarding but at the same time I can understand how he feels and when at the end of the day people say to you to go to a proper breeder for your puppy etc but then we're told to help dogs in shelters... bit of a contradiction isn't it? LOL! It's not just about not supporting puppy farms its about ensuring the dogs have been bred for the right purpose and with the ex breeding bitches this cannot be guaranteed at all.  :'(
