sam has a lump on his chin!!

just been having a stroke with sammy and he made a funny that hurt sort of noise. didn't thin anything of it. then my son tickled him under his chin and he did it again. just had a good look and he has got a lump (bear with me while i explain where) where his mouth closes at the end just under his bottom lip. he's obvioulsy in pain. any ideas what the may be? he's been fine all day. help! :'(

it's about the size of a two pence piece but circular hanging down. i'm afriad to touch him now! don'y want to hurt the poor fellow.  :'( after we've had such a fab day. sun is out and beem out for walkies with friend two mini daschounds (sp). he's even had his nails clipped and he was an angel :angel:

the lump seems to have bigger and has now gone under his chin (looks like  a double chin) he's very quiet and asleep on the setee. he is still flinching when i go near his face. help! shall i phnoe the emergency vet or wait until the morning?

If it's hurting him and getting bigger then I would take him to the vet for a check I think.

took him to the emergency vet he has been stung, but whatever it was had caused a reaction. >:D he's had an anti flamatatry (sp) and seems a bit better. don't think i'll be sleeping much tonight!!!!
however had him weighed in the vets he's 6.4kg ph34r he was only 3 something 6 weeks ago!!

just to let you know sam is back to normal today! i got up about 20 times in the night to check on him!! i'm shattered now. glad it's all sorted had a bit of a panic on last night. by the time i came home last night my OH was in bed. he saw the vets bill this morning  ph34r £99  ph34r. it was 89 just to see the vet. :o

Yeah, you pay through the nose to see out of hours emergency vets. glad he's ok now though

Molly was stung 2 years ago on her face and the swelling was awful!! She looked like she'd just lost a fight with Mike Tyson!!

Vet just gave her a steroid injection and the swelling went down almost immediately!

Glad Sammy is better!!
