Molo went to see a doggy Chiropractor today

I have noticed now and again that he has been a little "stiff" in the back end - not limping or lame, but a bit slow to walk around the garden or struggling to climb up onto the sofa occasionally, and reluctant to go out now and again

The vet gave him a clean bill of health, so I made an appointment for him at the
Isle of Wight Natural Therapy Centre for Animals (an absolutely wonderful place

)
Vav gave him an assessment and treatment today; his pelvis was misaligned which was putting pressure on some of the nerves leading to his back legs - causing similar symptoms to sciatica in humans (and I know from experience how painful that is

) He goes back in two weeks for a second treatment, but she is confident that he will improve rapidly, especially as we are starting to do a lot more lead walking as we are training for Walk the Wight; apparently, lead walks are the best thing to build up and strengthen muscle

I am so glad I trusted my instincts; I was sure that
something wasn't right, but it was so subtle that even OH told me I was imagining things
