Hi, I am delighted to have just come across 'Cockersonline' and would love to join everyone for the North West meet on Formby Beach - hope that is okay?.  My husband and I will accompany Piper who is a beautiful blue roan 11 month old little girl and simply the sweetest thing.  Will post a picture soon.

Thanks for welcoming us to COL.   Piper is very excited about meeting lots of fellow Cockers (including honorary ones!) and feels that  Formby beach is a most suitable venue 'cos she just loves the beach! :D

Our first weekend away in ages and I'm going to miss all the fun with all your gorgeous cockers :cry:  

My sis just called me and told me about Bark in the park, it's on Sunday the 18th at Croxteth Park and sounds like a great day out (which i'm going to miss too!) here is the link;

We've only been once and we found a road through some trees and along a road which came out behind the dunes. There was about 3 or 4 car parks set about. We did past a port a cabin which I think was for the wardens.
Is this the one or can anybody help with directions or maps please..............

Hi there everyone :D  we are going to pop along on Saturday but will be there from about 12.45pm till 2pm, as Neil needs to get back for the 3pm Kick off at the Reebok, he just does not want to miss out on the fun. :roll:  I have also been talking to a lady called Helen who walks 2 cockers on the field near me, she does not have a computer so never come across this wonderful site, she is also going to come along with her children and Bess & Georgie, hope this is ok with you all?. Can anyone give a specific direction as to where on the beach we will meet.Looking forward to it.

My suggestion is that we meet on the end carpark near the ice cream van. I the place is known locally as the squirrel reserve and I think it is a national trust site, so you might be able to get directions from there site.

Hi Michelle, is that the car park closest to where you enter?  

I know I have seen an ice cream van there before but I thought we were meeting near the sand dunes?  Mind you, guess it will be pretty easy to spot the meeting point once there with all of those cutie cockers running around :D

Just been on the Met Office website and it looks like the weather is going to be nice tomorrow, cant wait to meet all the cockers and there owners too, of course.
