Just had a call from the vets, they removed two bits of rubbery plastic that got stuck between the small and large intestines, but that everything else seemed healthy. She's just coming round from the anesthetic and I should telephone in the morning. Isn't it amazing how quick she's been treated, I can't fault them at all. Thank goodness for pet insurance!

Thanks for all the good wishes, it really was a worry. My husband thought I was mad phoning a vet on a Sunday evening, but I was really worried that she would die if I left her all night. I know it sounds a bit dramatic but by the time I took her to the vets she wouldn't move, she had stopped following me around, which she does all the time so I had to carry her to the car. Still I'm sure she's feeling a bit better now and hopefully she will have a good nights sleep, as will I. :D
