There are numerous thread on ears if you do a search for "ears" or "Thornits" - here is one of them:

http://www.cockersonline.co.uk/discuss/index.php?topic=15043.0

What I do is to give Coco's ears a good wipe out with a baby wipe and when they are dry put a pinch of Thornit powder in - I do this every few weeks and her ears are clean and fresh - unless she has done a headstand in some fox poo that is  ::)  :005:

Hope that helps.  ;)

I can vouch for Thornit. Keeps our American Cocker's and Pyrenean's ears nice and clean. Vera
