Hi i joined col a while back and introduced myself, although it never appeared on this topic, i have had lots of lovely messages read some great topics and have thoroughly enjoyed it and would like to say what a great site this is.
I hope this dosent sound like im being rude because i really am not, but was just wondering, i have become a full member, but have noticed that most people even newbies are site members also. How do i become a site member or do you earn it in anyway.
Please im really not being rude but was just curious. thanks :blink:

There is actually no difference in having the site member status; this was a user group which we needed to create some time back in order to provide some compatibility with the homepage software (which were currently in the process of 'dismantling' in favour of a basic html setup.) Previously when a member joined up they were automatically added to the site member group, it didn’t actually mean or do anything different, it was purely for back end referencing on the database.
I can add you to that group still if you wish to see the tag displayed.

Got to add again, this site is just so great and cannot beleive how addictive it is,   i go to bed some nights still chuckling from some the comments and posts. But have also found it great with any problems we tend to get with our Cockers from time to time. Thankyou for letting me join  :luv:

Thankyou for doing that i now feel part of the gang ;)

Also can i just say some lovely people on here have great knowledge on Cockers, i wish they were my vets they seem to make much more sense.

Hi emilymae, you go for it girl, btw i popped some puppy pics on Working cockers for you as you asked to see some of Lucy and Changs pups hope you like them,

I felt left out too thats why i asked if i could be a site member makes you feel part of the gang, hope it can be done for you :luv:

Posts made on Anything Goes don't count towards your post totals which is why it shows as 9 not 12. I'm afraid you won't become a Full Member until you've made 100 posts (not including posts on Anything Goes).

I'm going to close this thread for the time being as Annette's suggestion may be preferable and will involve less work for poor Stuart ;)
