Hi my pup Sammy is almost six months and is growing fast, how many times a day should he be walked and what duration, i let him off the lead most of the time.

the general rule is 5 minutes per month of age, 2-3 times a day. So for 6 months roughly 30 minutes at a time. ;)

Bearing in mind that the general rule is based around pavement walking.  If you are running round fields, this isn't as harsh on the joints, so a bit more every now and then isn't going to do any harm - it's still a good guide though - and at 11 months Honey only really gets longer than 45-50 mins at the weekends...
