Been back to the vets this afternoon and so far so good! Grace bobbed out to the car and was keen on trying to leap in but needed a bit of help.

Anyway the vet is pleased with progress to date...pain patch has come off and we've agreed to get additional Omega-3 and glucosamine to help support her other systems. Have to say the vets have been really good and have been really happy to sit and talk about how we can do what we can without trying to soft soap us of what the long term outlook might be.

Anyway she had a little walk up the road and was clearly happy to be out and about a bit so we'll have the same again tomorrow so she doesn't give up on life - at this rate the tennis ball will be out and about next week.

Feeling much more positive today and looking forward to the weekend!

So pleased things are getting better  :luv: It must be so hard for you all, especially Grace, would be so nice if they could understand why.

Enjoy the weekend

That's great that she is doing so well.  When her coat grows again it's will be surprising how much it masks that fact the leg is missing.

That is very true. When I look at photos I took of Heidi now, I cannot tell which ones were taken pre or post amputation. She's lookin' good! :luv:

Bless her, she looks like she is coping really well.  :luv:  By the time the wound has healed I expect she will have forgotten she ever had 4 legs!  ;)  Looks like she is going to show you it is nothing to worry about  :D

Keep it up Grace  :-* :-*

I'm so pleased that she's not let it affect her.  She is such a pretty girl and poses very nicely to have her piccie taken too, bless her  :luv:

Happy leaky eyes here looking at those pics.  :luv: :luv:

I am so pleased to see Grace looking so well  :luv: Her story set my mind back to the worrying time that Dannyt had with Charlie :shades:, and we all know what a fantastic recovery he made.
