How are the star ratings worked out??

I have just noticed that i am now a senior member , and i was just wondering how it goes 

I have seen newbies , full members , site members even restricted members , but hows it all worked out ?

Sorry if i should already know this or it is a bit of a strange question , just wondered .

Done on how many posts you have posted, as far as i'm away, though i'm not sure on the boundaries, someone mentioned it a while ago so hopefully they'l come along with all the different numbers of posts etc

I know hero member is when you have posted 500 just edited this as i just checked what i was, never thought about it before hehe

It's based on your number of posts; Newbie is up to 50, Junior Member is 50-100, Senior Member 100-500 and Hero Member is 500+. Everyone's stars are the same at the various levels, the different ones are moderators or site admin.

I think the 'Site Member' thing is to do with the date you joined, there was a site hosting change (I think) and if you were a member prior to that you have this on your profile.

How did you get site member ? because sometimes you see site member then under that different full member , sr member etc?

Just to add to this that posts on Anything Goes don't count towards star ratings (in case anyone was wondering )
