I keep getting this error message

     Hi there, maybe you can help me sort this problem!
  for quite a while now whenever I try to move around this forum (& it's only this one Grrrr)
 I get the message below.     
  However many times I refresh the page it still comes back.     
       
I use Mozilla Firefox but when I switched to Internet Explorer a similar massage appeared.
         
here's the message:

Any ideas would be great, I'm so fed up with it, I really liked being on the forum but can't get to more than one page in before the message comes up

It could be a number of things causing this error on your computer. This page gives you a few suggestions:

I'd maybe start by completely clearing your internet cache (your temp internet files) and also check that your antivirus program isn't interfering with the way pages load (I use Avast & did have to disable part of it to stop this kind of error a while ago). Also try temporarily disabling any ad blocker you might have running & see if that makes a difference.

Thanks Jane, I have Avast on my machine so that might be a good place to start. Will study the info on the link and hope I can get back on here.
