So sorry to hear this  :-\

Ensign, my old foster was diagnosed with this last year, and it seems to go up and down; good days and bad. He's on a maintenance dose of prednisone, which they seem to have to adjust on occasion, so he is not losing the weight like Tilly is, in fact he's a bit bloated from the pred. Stress can also send him into a flare up too, at the holidays they had quite a bit with travel and sick family members so he had another episode then  :-\

Sounds like it is something that is not cured but managed as you go along, so praying to find that "steady spot" for Tilly  :luv: :-*

Sorry to hear Tilly's has a setback.  Everything crossed here that they manage to stabilise her and let the drugs start to work their magic  :luv:

Are they monitoring her liver function with the high dose pred and metronidazole?

They weren't yet as she only started last weekend, she was due blood and urine tests next week but that's one of the things they're checking out now after this episode.
