Black coat developed grey patches behind ears

Our 6 month old boy has developed little patches of grey hair on the sides of his head underneath his ears. Otherwise his coat is solid black apart from a teeny tiny bit of grey flash on his chest.

I am sure these grey patches weren't there a few weeks back. Is my boy turning grey already?!

Mines recently developed white flecks around his bum (at about 1 year old we started to notice it.) while his white chest looks to be getting smaller. I just assumed he'd settle into his coat as he reaches adulthood. I assume he wont change again untill he gets old. But as this is my first cocker I dont know this for sure.

My puppys got silver (well shiny gray) fur between her pads.It looks like shes walked on a painted floor.

Many years ago we had a solid black, when she was around 8 months old developed groups of white/grey hairs, she had them for life, but they were part of her, seemed really strange as the first 8 months no signs of them at all.

She came from a good breeder, we met both parents, mum was black, dad golden and saw pictures of the grandparents, again solid black/gold.

I have exactly the same problem!  Bailey is almost 4 and ever since he was one he has been gradually getting greyer! He has it on his paws and round his bum and now it's between his eyes!!

Isnt it strange?! Llew has some white fur on the underneath of his paw (between his pads) as well. I'll have to get him some Just For Men

Cobi is black and he also started to get groups of white hairs from about one year old.  He has them on his chest bum and the tip of his tail.
