Good on yer Inky - staking a claim as a typical male in early adolescence.   The weird thing with the human version is that as soon as you have finished begging them for even cursory attention to soap and water, you start pleading to be allowed just five minutes yourself in front of the mirror.  So maybe Inky will turn into a super-groomed, self-obsessed male model overnight?  

Cass is bright and lively enough when she is running around on the fells but still very subdued when she is at home. I think she will miss Millie for some time yet.  Or it could be that she is picking it up from me. Grief stays raw for a long time - as you also know only too well?
