Mine wake early if I forget to close the blinds in the kitchen where they sleep. They stay quiet longer if it is darker. Just a thought!

Really feel for you, as I need to get a good night sleep to function the next day too :bigarmhug:
When Livie & Tinker were little they would full on howl & woowoowoooooo at about 5 - 5.30 a.m. They were both sleeping in the kitchen with a glass back door & aswell as the early morning sun, we had a problem with a fox & her family who used to sit on the doorstep ....we knew she'd been there because of the poo pressie she used to leave ...bless  :-\  I tried covering the glass panels & closing the blinds but (you probably don't want to hear this  ph34r ) the problem got solved when they came to bed with us & their mum ....they now sleep to when ever we get up, inc. weekend lye -ins  :luv:

Little Freddie sounds like a real poppet in every other way (so well done you  ;) ) but he is still a baby. Maybe as he matures he will stay settled for longer (or be cuddled up with you & will lurve a lie in  :005: )
If your dog thinks you're the best.....don't seek a second opinion!!
