puppys eyes still blue.

Hiya i'm new to the site and don't even have my dog yet. we have chosen a puppy and saw her at 2 weeks old, and again this weekend when she is six weeks old. Her eyes were very blue, which i thought would have changed by now. She is orange roan and have read that hazel eyes are not uncommon, but will this mean she has eye problems or be more prone to them. I dont plan on showing her although she does have a good pedigree with a few champs in there. Are blue eyes ok?

Hi and welcome to the site.  I'd say it was normal, my collie's eyes were remained quite blue for some time until eventually going brown. I had Penny (my lab cross) at 6wks and her eyes were still very blue then.

Tali's were still blue til about 12 or 13 weeks I think. Brown now though.

My dogs' eyes were still blue until about 12 weeks old as well
