Thanks all, hearing all your comments Im reassured that pooing on 3 legs seems quite normal  :005:
Still find it a pain though when he puts his leg down in it

Jarvis circles furiously up to 7 times and chooses the highest point possible, which can sometimes be on top a stinging nettle or a thistle.  He will then kick with his back feet to spread his scent which usually just sends grass and clods of earth flying into the faces of any dogs and humans passing...it's just what he does  :shades:

Wilf's a great circler (which is quite amusing to watch as he might also pace until he finds the right spot and its always in the middle of the path never at the side) but then he just squats and looks pathetic - Roobs on the other hand is a great kicker.

I've seen a lot of terriers that will back up high into a bush.

The most peculier thing I have noticed with both the girls I have had, they never seem to poo in one place, but like to 'spread it about'  :lol2: whereas Smudge just gets on with it in one place.
Remembering Smudge 23/11/2006 - 3/8/2013, Branston 30/8/14 - 28/10/22, and Minstrel 24/6/13 - 13/8/24 all now at the Bridge.

Yep Freya is one for this  >:( you end up following them round in circles picking each bit up as they go, bit embarassing in town or the middle of a pavement  :005:

Thankfully my two tend to 'go' in the garden before we go out, but if they do get caught short in the park or wherever, it is much easier picking up Smudge's for sure.  :D

Some dogs just poo like that - I think it's a form of scent spreading - he's not embarrassed so I don't see any reason why you are  :shades:

OMG you;ve just described Finn!!!
