Just wondering how Jemima is getting on  :luv:  Have everything crossed your girl is back home where she can start making a real recovery  :luv:  Sending lots of healing positive thoughts her way and a big  :bigarmhug: for you, as if she is home, I suspect thats pretty scarey in itself at the moment  :luv:
Thinking of you all.

Just updating inbetween phsio and toilet sessions! Ms Jemima came home yesterday morning. Had an appointment with the vet and the phsio. Felt like a fish out of water when we got her home. We were so desperate to get her home then found it overwhelming that Jem is completely dependent upon us. I did feel it yesterday as she wasn't holding her weight at all. We have had a breakthrough today though with her holding her weight for a few seconds at each phsio. A small milestone but I feel so proud of her. She ate a chicken portion when she got home, then had her liver tea, then scramble egg for breakfast and best beef mince tonight. She is finding the cage rest really difficult as she is used to being by me all of the time on the settee. I have been letting her have a sit with me while I have a rest, although I do cheat a bit and brush her back legs and play with her feet (the vet said a little settee time was fine!). We can only got on from here and little milestones are going to be really important and will keep us going. At the moment, the family don't feel confident enough to be left to her care on their own without me so it's mostly falling on me. I think they are very nervous about hurting her. I think I hear a Jemima wanting her evening "aerobics" session out of the cage, got to go....!!!  :luv:

:luv: :luv: :luv: Brilliant!!!!      So good to hear she has her appetite back and sounds like her physio is starting to pay dividends as well  :luv:  Understand everyone being nervous about handling her, but they'll get there over the coming few days, and hopefully be able to give you more rest.   :bigarmhug:'s for you, you're doing a fantastic job looking after your girl, and you just watch as those little milestones start being ticked off  :luv:

Oh it is great news that your girl is home with you, but a big worry too I imagine.

Sending Jemima big hugs, and some for her Mummy too. xxxx :luv: :luv:
