Hi from Nottinghamshire
« on: January 26, 2012, 10:35:35 PM »
Hi
I have been on here for a while but not quite got to grips with it  ;) So here we are. Ben (my partner) and I are the proud parents of two show type cocker spaniels. One orange roan Seth, he's the athletic scruffy chap with the heart of gold and Cooper, the blue roan, he's the show dog and little bit mad but gorgeous. Our boys are the world to both of us and so very spoilt. We have recently started showing Cooper and not done too badly although we are VERY new to the showing side of things and so we are making mistakes and learning with our youngest boy. Cooper is 1 year old today and Seth is 2 years old next week.

Looking forward to making new friends who are equally as crazy about their cockers  :D

Hello and welcome to COL! Your boys look gorgeous  :luv:. I'm owned by Maisie, a light roan show type cocker who manages to roll in fox poo at any opportunity and still look totally innocent of the crime  :005: Good thing I don't show her, any judge in their right mind would run a mile  :005:

All the dogs are gorgeous and I can assure you Lottielu that Cooper the dark blue roan (who we do show) frequently rolls in fox poo and anything else he can get his paws on!! Usually it involves late night or early morning baths before a show  :005:

Loving seeing all the gorgeous cockers on the forum and like minded dog obsessed people  ;)

Reassuring to know I'm not alone in having a poo roller! What always amazes me is how they manage to come running back to you presenting their clean side. It's only when I put my hand down to stroke her that I get a handful of something unpleasant which is dripping off the hidden ear ( sorry  :005:, too much information!!)

Hello and welcome

You will find plenty of other cocker mad people around these parts! And you're from Nottingham too, not far from me! Your boys are beautiful  :luv: we have had our first cocker, Bingley, for around 6 weeks now! Loving every second...almost.  :005:
