Hoping it is just a wee blip and that after some rest she continues to recover at the amazing rate she has been doing so alredy

Really hope this is just a little blip, as Maggie R said, the drop in temperatures may be affecting her? Archie (hip dysplasia and osteo arthritis) is struggling post exercise in this cold.  :-\

Hopefully it's nothing to worry about. Maybe some painkillers and a nights rest will do the trick :luv:

I think she may be better Helen, thank you :-*. I gave her a Tramadol last night so she would stop fidgeting and this morning she has no limp but she is a wee bit stiffer than normal.  I will keep a good eye on her today and see she doesn't overdo it.  If she is still showing stiffness tomorrow I will phone John.

This is awful.  You try your best not to but you end up being permanently on high alert for the same thing happening. :-\

Could compensation for the injury be causing stiffness/pain in other muscles?

Glad Lyla :luv:seems more comfortable
today.
I understand totally about the constant
watching, from my own experience
when you start down this road you are
always hyper-alert, but as time goes
on you will become more used to the
situation.
As you say John is there for any concerns
which is a great help just for you to
know he is there.

Being a the little miracle dog that she is is bound to give her the occasional day of stiffness and limping- hopeit is something and nothing and that a call to the vet puts your mind at rest - her recovery haas been so quick it is sometimes hard to associate her with the poor wee soul she was only a short time ago!!

So pleased she's not limping this morning, I think she's possibly overdone it so a couple of days with a bit more rest will do her the world of good.  If it will put your mind at rest about her, and to find out if what has just happened is pretty standard for this type of recovery, give the vet a bell and have a chat anyway.  :bigarmhug:
