I cut him!
« on: March 21, 2012, 07:15:52 PM »
:012: First time using my Roseline scissors and I managed to cut poor little Jeff. He squeaked. I cried. I am thoroughly traumatised; Jeff forgot about it in a nano second. Jeff now has a small red bloody patch on his chest  :'(

Oh its horrible isn't it - I recently caught Ben's ear when trimming him and he squeeked - I felt so bad for days, long after he had forgotton it!  The lovely thing about cockers is they soon forget, especially when given something nice to ease our guilty feelings, and they don't hold a grudge either - so don't feel too awful, I am sure we have all been there  ;)

They are very sharp especially when new. I have done a very small amount of nicks over the years to dogs but I'm like Ninasmum in that its generally me. I now keep a supply of plasters in the shed for myself.

Ouch!  Poor Jeff, Odie sends a healing kiss his way :-*  There's a bed up here in Yorkshire if either one of them wants to escape a scissor wielding maniac :005: :005:
Both taken away from us far too soon. x  RIP Angels Odie & Archie, causing mayhem at the Rainbow, no doubt!
