Really hoping you had a reasonable night in the circumstances and that Archies rehab goes smoothly.

Hope Alfie had a peaceful night Mark  ;)

Is he still on painkillers?

Only Rymadyl and some antibiotics, took him out in the stroller we got for Oliver today and he was fine.

Hi Mark, just wondering how Alfie is doing now?
Hoping that he is improving, and managing to stand a little on his bad leg

Oh dear your doggies have been in the wars!  How did Douglas lose a toe?

Unbelievable that Alfie is standing in that picture having broken his leg!

Dogs are incredibly resilient.

Dogs are incredibly resilient.

Douglas had some sort of growth on his pad, not sure if it is anything sinister but the vet recommended the toe to be removed as a precaution.
Alfie is standing because of the amount of plates and screws holding him together.
