grooming course in north west
« on: May 28, 2012, 07:13:40 PM »
Does anyone know of a grooming course in the north west.

I have 2 cockers and I am interested in learning the skill for myself, but I am sick of seeing these distance learning courses that can't teach you a thing (and half of the groomers I have been to must have been taught by ;) )

So does anyone know of a credible course in the north west area?

Thanks  :D

Could you not ask your dogs breeder (s) if they could help you?

Thanks - I didn't buy my dogs from a breeder up north unfortunately.

I have checked with myerscough - they no longer do the full dog grooming course due to staff cut backs, they only do the introduction to grooming run on a saturday morning.

I wondered does anyone know of any other courses?

Thanks very much for your help  :D

I did my grooming courses at rodbaston college. I'vr done other courses at reaseheath and really enjoyed them. They even have a one day introduction course on showing  :D

Did you find anywhere? Don't some groomers offer courses too? - ones that have qualified staff who offer training city and guild accredited?
Don't know if anyone else has tried these?
