Raff - a gentle soul
« on: June 13, 2012, 09:17:36 PM »
8/3/03 to 13/06/12

Our dear Raff went to the vets today to have a lump removed, what seemed a straightforward procedure, due to severe complications during the op, the vet called and we made the hard decision, to let our beautiful little boy go........................

My husband, my daughter and I are devastated, completely stunned that this could have happened.

Raff was a loving, gentle, faithful friend, he was always ready for a game, to share his love, he never once growled at anyone or anything, a gentler soul couldnt have been found on this earth.

We miss him so much, and cant believe he isnt here with us now on his bed that i have just washed ready for him to come home from the vets, the house is quiet and empty without him.

Cant believe we wont hear him woof again, or cuddle him, or have him curled up on us,  nor hear his snores on our bed, or laugh at him when he steals the washing, or my husbands food, or step on a snail he has brought us from the garden, or drag him from the pond happy and green and smelling rather foul, in a thousand postive ways he was and is still part of our everyday life,  in everything we did or have done he was part of this.

We went to see him at the vets, he looked at peace, so Raff, we told him that we loved him, and missed him, and wanted to hold him, and that he was best friend ever, a kind and gentle little man, we said our goodbyes, and promised never to forget him.

Rest in peace Raffly, we will always remember and love you, you were very very special

Love from dad, mum, and kathryn xxxxx
