They are a nightmare  >:D Cupar was covered in them on Sunday after a walk........Luckily our Grandson was with us and sat with Cupar in the back of the car and managed to pick loads out on our way home (20min drive) lightened the load for later pickings  ;)

ive never known a year so bad for them , Bailey my choccy boy is the worst his fur is just a magnet for them the other two arent so bad but its an hour of picking at least for him, can you not de weed a section of the garden free of them and keep him to that area for a bit
I know how you feel. I reckon I spent over an hour getting approx 200 or so out of Chip's coat. He was covered bless him but very patient :luv:

I used to find it very therapeutic picking them out but this year, Dallas has taken it to extremes! He is covered in them after every walk and I'm sick of the sight of them now  :005:

and you counted them too  :005: :005: , luckily mine just lie on their backs legs akimbo for most of it quite happily letting us fuss over them  :D :D

we get covered in sticky balls every time we go out as they are let loose on open countryside, I've had to resort to keeping their coat short and chopping off their long ears (show dogs).  A wide tooth comb seems to help though
cocker spaniels make everything ok

Yep, sticky buds are definitely attracted to spaniel ears!



And that sticky plant thing (don't know what it's called - but it was really fun to stick to people's backs when we were kids) is even worse...
