... victim of grass seeds for this season?
Took the dogs for walk/swim this morning and turned round to notice Milo trying to dry his ears in the long grass.

Anyway, as to be expected he came up shaking his head and then rubbing his left ear along the ground. So, off to the vet's for sedation and grass seed removal. Andy (the vet) has also shaved all the hair from the inside of his lugs to help prevent seeds getting caught in the hair and drawn into the ear canal. Milo was the first grass seed victim for this season that Andy has seen, hope this was the first and last for us; there's a long way to go before they're gone again.

I was meant to ring the surgery at 3 to find out when I could pick him up, but they rang me at 2 and said Milo wanted to go home; I could hear him howling and apparently he'd started the rest of the dogs off as well.

Poor old Miley has a sore lug-hole and is feeling very sorry for himself.

Poor old Mocha's miffed as well as she was thrilled to have him home, but he just keeps growling at her 'cos he's feeling rotten.
