Sad news for Ruby - she's now blind

Oh poor Ruby, I'm sorry about her eyes. I'm sure she will soon adjust and be able to find her way around, they cope so much better than we do.

Sorry to hear Ruby has lost her sight.    I hope she manages to adapt to her blindness, bless her. 

It sounds like you are having a busy time at the moment Penny with your 'animal hospital'.  Dont' forget to look after yourself too.

I almost feel more for you than for Ruby as I am certain she will adapt quite well, and she must be so pleased to have so much less pain now (even the post-op pain is better than her eye would have been before the op).

I hope Ruby recovers from her operation quickly, poor girl  

My old boy, Josh, gradually lost his sight to cataracts in his extreme old age but adjusted well. He was quite confident in the house and garden and spent a few minutes off lead out on our walks every day, just pottering about and sniffing things. I just had to watch him closely on walks, making sure he was only off lead in safe places where the worst he could do was to bump into a shrub.
