I stalked a couple for ages around Greenwich market a couple of weeks ago. They were carrying an 11 week old blue roan. I was out on a date with my OH and he'd insisted that I left my 9week old pup at home :'( The whole date then ended up being a cocker pup obsession

I have cocker spotted for some time, now I have oh cocker spotting as well, he's become so good at it he spots them before me. We notice them mainly from their very distinctive walk, which after close examination of Murphy (from behind I have to add  ph34r), we think resembles uncle alberts walk off only fools and horses, anyone else think this??

I love Cocker Spoting too!!! I must admit I'm a bit of an all round dog stalker.......   :005: :005:  I think it has rubbed off on Poppy as the best thing ever is just meeting another doggie.  She has only met a couple of other grown up cockers but I'm hoping once she is bigger and we can go for longer walks that we will see a few.

We have been stalked by other Cocker Spoters though.... :005: Very funny when your out and someone (who you have never met before) says "this must be Poppy we were talking about her over tea the other night"...... everyone is at it!!!   :rofl1:

A bit sad this but I spotted a Cocker in the park today not by sight but by sound - I could hear this excited, yelpy bark in the distance and just knew it was the type of noise only a Cocker could make. Sure enough it was 3 month black Cocker pup, cute as a button he was too.

As for being stalked by other Cocker owners, it happened to me once passing through Inverary. I was with my neice and we stopped briefly for a toilet break for Jimmy and Misty. It'd been pouring down and the grass was like a lake - the dogs made a sudden lunge and I went flying up in the air and landed on my back.  >:( My neice just stood there laughing at me, then up came running 3 mad, crazy women screaming their heads off - I thought they'd come to help me off the ground or see if I needed the air ambulance but nope... they'd come to show me pictures of their Cockers and even worse, take photos of me with mine.  :o When I got home I logged onto COL in dread that the photos might have been posted here - Jimmy and Misty looking like butter wouldn't melt and me crumpled up in agony, bruised face smiling weakly through gritted teeth and my clothes completely sodden and caked in mud.  ph34r

Yep guilty as charged, I got my fix today we have shadow 3 months, went on a little walk and lone behold a couple with a little blue roan 4 weeks older than shadow, the two babies had a great time rolling round the floor and us mums had a great discussion on all things cocker puppy. (funny though i was happy as larry letting him play, but if it had been another breed I am sure I would not have been so relaxed) Cocker love eh :005:
