Hi my name is Bex, I'm nearly 30, Married to Martin with a 8 year old daughter Izzy and William who is 5. We got our Golden Cocker puppy George at the end of september, After we sadly lost our gorgeous old cockerxspringer Danny,We had him for 10 years (our 1st baby lol) he was 15 so a good age but we were still heartbroken when he died.
At nearly 7 months old George is definatly a handfull. We love him to bits, and he is great company as my husband works night shifts. He is great with the kids too.
We are taking him in for the dreaded chop on the 12th March, so any tips on how to get him through would be greatly received. We have had him fully checked out, the vet gave him a good going over. I have to say the one thing that annoys me about having a golden cocker is the amount of (mainly) old men who like to tell me about 'Rage' I had one old man telling me to shine a light in his eyes to see what colour they are, the vet had a good look with her torch when we got him, and said apart from a weepy eye he was fine. He is crate trained too, this is great! and as long as he has had a run we can leave him for a couple of hours.
Hear from u all soon, Bex xx
